Hello.

Currently my computer has 3gb of ram (2gb Kingston ddr3 1333mhz, 1gb Apacer ddr3 1333mhz). Recently i bought 4gb(2x2) Kingston 1600mhz rams. So the question is: should i use only those new 4gb, or can I mix them all without loosing much of the performance? And if I use them all wouldn't it be slower than using the new ones only?

Re: Ram upgrade

Not knowing what we're working makes it impossible to be precise, but generally, mixing RAM brands/specs commonly results in problems and Kingston has been known to have compatibility issues.
The 2x2GB pair, if it's compatible with your Mobo, should be plenty. That will use Dual Chanel Mode and it's performance advantages.
