[SOLVED] Question about HD Tune Pro

3638 Views 7 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Jovi21
I scanned my hard drive with HD Tune Pro and the results gave me this message: 1 Error at 15409 MB (LBA 31557736). It also listed the following: (C5) Current Pending Sector, Current: 100, Worst: 100, Threshold: 0, Data: 2, Status: Warning. What does all of this information mean?

Re: Question about HD Tune Pro

It is a Toshiba MK1637GSX drive, and it is no longer under warranty. I will try hddscan- thanks!
Re: Question about HD Tune Pro

I clicked on 'smart' on hddscan- it is showing a yellow error icon next to '197 current pending errors count.' What does that mean?
Re: Question about HD Tune Pro

Hmm, ok. Thanks for your help!
It's okay- at least I know now, instead of when it completely crashes. I've started putting data on a usb drive- I should be able to finish getting all of the important files on there tonight. :)
