I need to know what a WEP key is and were to find it as i cannot connect my playstaion to the wireless, its really doing my head in.
any help greatly appreciated

I would start by looking in your router manual and see if it is listed there.

Welcome to TSF,

Usually, the WEP key is listed on the bottom of your router on a sticker (it is sometimes located on the back). Please have a look on your router to check if that sticker is there, if so, it should say WEP: #########. You will have to put whatever numbers/letters it has there as your WEP key in the PS3.

P.S. Try wmorri's suggestion afterwards as they sometimes have it on the manual, if not on the router.

I couldnt find it on the router but i typed in the Ip address and it allowed me to change the key online
