[SOLVED] Perfmon help

In my second week at the new job, and trying to set up perfmon logs to get some baseline performance info. But I am having trouble obtaining the information using perfmon.

Using Windows Server 2003.

I set up 5 different basic counter logs and scheduled them appropriately, but when I went to view the data collected, they did not collect anything? I did not add any objects to these counter logs, I only added counters.

If I select new counter set, and add counters from there it works, but how do you schedule them or get to the same properties window to goto the scheduling tab from the new counter set screen?

Either one of the two solutions is what I am looking for here, how do you schedule or goto counter log properties window from within the counter set screen, or how do you get a created counter log to capture data? My counter logs ran at the appropriate time, but did not capture anything? Getting frustrated, cause I'm sure this is something simple, but not finding the right answers on google right now. Ideally, I'm not sure why just creating new counter logs and having them run isnt capturing anything? I've checked the perfmon log and alert service and it is running also.
