1. Running Win 7 Home Premium.
2. Using Ofice 2003 Professional and IE8

I have seen this problem reported by several others. When clicking on a hyperlink in an email message, I get the following error:
"This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact system administrator.

I am the administrator. Here's what I tried:
IE/Tools/Internet Options/set default program/Outlook.

This fix apparently worked for others, but not me. The only changes that I made were adding Windows 7 Service Pack and 2 critical updates.

Obviously, I could cut and paste every hyperlink into IE, but a) I didn't used to have this problem before I made the changes and b) Hyperlinks are for clicking, not for cutting and pasting.

I hope someone can help.

Thanks.
