I don't can't record sound on my computer. And yes I have tried the properties on the sound controls, but it wasn't on there. :banghead:
I have sigmatel audio and windows xp.

Tell us a little more of your setup. (ex) what type of sound are you trying to record? (ex) music, or voice or? What is the input device? (ex) Mic or are you recording from the web. What Software are you using to record with? Windows Sound Recorder or a 3rd party software. What happens when you try to record?

Hello,

To play sound, make sure that the "Play Sound" option is checked in Options. Be sure your speakers are on. Also, there are many ways to mute sound in Windows, you make need to make sure sound isn't muted, see the Sound applet in Start button -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Sound.

Ok here's the deal. I am trying to record sound on Hyper Cam 3, but there is no audio. AND yes i have looked in properties. Its not there. Do I need to download something?

Then you for telling us you are using a 3rd party software HyperCam to record web audio. But you may have more luck posting in their forum then in this general Microsoft Forum.

All caps indicate that you might be yelling. Have patients more info is the key. What software are you using to record sound?

Hyper Cam, Free Sound Recorder, Windows Sound Recorder. But none of them work.

P.S. I was emphasizing, not yelling.

I don't have any other computers and no one I know has Hypercam. Is that the device you were talking about?
