I like the aero style theme. Only thing I don't like about it is the shadows and glass. Is there a Windows 7 no shadow no glass themes? The other default theme on windows 7 doesn't have the color boder, taskbars to chose from.

Have you tried the "Windows 7 Basic" theme? Besides no aero effects, what else are you looking for?

Yes I have, but I like the border and taskbars on aero. I just don't like the shadows.

See if this thread helps, take a look at the last post, it may be the answer you are seeking.

My screen, while has a great resolution (1920x1080) it has a strange "echo" effect so i don't even notice the shadows....

I already done that. That did NOT do the trick.

When I put my mouseover something it has shadows. I disabled pointer shadows, but still get those shadows.
