Hi TSF,
I have recently finished my new PC build, I bought RAM today, and upon boot up, there is no display. What is the procedure that you go through on first boot up?

CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 955
GPU - Gigabyte HD 6870
RAM - Patriot RAM 2Gb
PSU - Cooler Master 600w Silent Pro M

I do this first when setting up any new computer and also when diagnosing a particularly troublesome one.

Did you have any problems before installing the Patriot RAM?

Well, I hadnt booted it up before instaling the RAM. It seems to be working now i have got it all out of the case. It is back in the case and still working. Fingers crossed it keeps working! I still dont know what was wrong before :S
