Hello everyone,
I know what you think, but please, i've searched the forum, not solving answer found.

Here is the problem:
I got Fujitsu-Siemes Amilo Pa3515
Windows 7 x64

Yesterday, i bought 2x2gb (pack) of these RAMs:

PSD22G8002S
Patriot Signature DDR2 2GB CL6 PC2-6400 (800MHz) SODIMM

=> Computer freezes now or then for "no reasons"

Memtest result:
no problems

Now i'am before:
reflashing bios (very bad bios with no options at all)
reinstalling the whole system (i did this week before new RAMs and i got a lot of applications so i try to avoid this, but if this can be the problem, what can i do...)

Any ideas?

Re: New RAM = laptop freeze

Patriot RAM is not known for compatibility.
Crucial is the best brand choice for OEM PC/laptops to help insure compatibility.
RAM should always be purchased in matched pairs to avoid problems.

Re: New RAM = laptop freeze

Hi. These RAMs are ok on configurator with similar types of laptops. Anyway i have not many choices, cause i live in country, where there are only A-Data, Kingston and Patriot RAMs. I don't want to buy them from abroad, cause these compatibility issues cause a lot of money (mail charges) and memory sticks can get faulty easy.

Also as i stated before, i bought them in pack "2x2gb (pack)" so they are matched pair (or at least they should be).
--------------------------------------------------------------

Although things are evolving kinda by themselves. Whilst at the beginning, the computer freezed often, whenever i tried to process text (in 90% of cases it got freezed when i was in browser writing or writing email), now the situation calmed down and i got one freeze in 2 hours.

I cleared browsing cashes and history, i checked CPU-Z for voltage info (1,8 in spd window) and i ran chkdsk /f to eliminate disk causes.

Pa 3515 vs Pa 3553

as you can see, architecture of these motherboards are similar also specs of computers are, there is a reason to suppose these memory sticks should be compatible.

Re: New RAM = laptop freeze

Anyway now i rechecked Patriot configurator and if you choose "Fujitsu" instead of "Fujitsu Siemens...", there is Pa 3515 listed and for all versions, these memories should be ok.

So any ideas what i can try or am i totally scrwd?

Re: New RAM = laptop freeze

Your problem is very common when installing RAM in an OEM Mobo.
They can be very selective about what RAM they will get along with.
Unfortunately, none of the three brands you have listed are noted for good compatibility and/or reliability.
Try one stick at a time and see if there are still issues.

Re: New RAM = laptop freeze

Ok, no freeze since the last post. So what could be the issue? I'm not pro in here, but could this problem be somehow covered here:
Why does an Internet browser freeze? - Yahoo! Answers

Cause with every freeze, the time till other freeze got longer and longer. Like every freeze would fix something :-/ I've also cleared the history of firefox, cause firefox was the starting point for these freezes (at least it always got frozen when i was using FF)
