I downloaded netscape 7.0 and now xp is barely responding - clicks get the waiting./egg-timer icon but then are ignored or take an age to bring up screens.

It was all hunky dory until I loaded netsape.
I tried to defrag the hard disk but it didn't help.
Any ideas what's going on?

I agree a 1 word responce was a little thin. :no:

Try uninstalling Netscape - rebooting and see if you still notice the speed lag. Post back and let me know.
