[SOLVED] Need some help in the process of building

So a my package from newegg arrived today with enough new parts to consider it a new build. After I put everything in the case, pray for a second, then press the power button the CPU fan starts up for about half a second before turning off entirely; no time to see a BIOS screen or anything. :sigh: Sound like a familiar problem to anyone?

Any help would be much appreciated. :pray: Parts are below.

Pull the board out of the case and test it on the bench, it's usually a standoff out of place or the board shorting to the case, Follow the steps here do not skip any> Bench Test

Thanks for the link, looks like I forgot to use the stand offs/risers whatever you might call them. Luckily there wasn't any damage. :)
could have turned into a expensive mistake

but we have all been there at one time or another
