I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and have a problem with Windows Mail.

The last time I shut it down, The page just seemed to expand (I don't know if I accidentally clicked on something or what).

Now when I restarted the program I figured out what's missing.

Along the left hand side of the screen I used to have a list of the different Windows Mail folders... Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Junk E-Mail, etc.

I no longer have this list of folders displayed and I would like to get it back.

Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Re: Need help with Windows Mail

This is Windows Mail & not "Live Mail" - correct?

Try a system restore, although I don't believe it will do much good because the mail files are located in the user profile folder area, but one never knows.
START | type rstrui

It cannot hurt.

Regards. . .

Re: Need help with Windows Mail

Thanks Jcgriff2,

When I first read your suggestion it sounded kind of drastic, but I did as you suggested and everything is back to normal.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Need help with Windows Mail

Hi Bill -

That is great news - most say "unconventional" - but at times "drastic" is good, too!

Thank you very much for posting back. I greatly appreciate it.

Happy Holidays.
