I have just built a new pc, it has been running fine for a while now but i have noticed a few things,

When the pc is shutdown the PSU and my case fans are still spinning and the lights that are on my case are still on,

But that isn't the issue atm.

I shutdown my machine last night and it will now not boot up, the psu won't even spin up.

It has done this before but that was when i changed a setting in my bios to enable Hardware Virtulization. I had to remove the CMOS battery to reset the bios and it then booted fine, but i have done that now and it still won't power on.

Does anybody have any advice on what i should do to try and resolve this issue.

Specs:

CPU -Intel Core i7 2600k Unlocked Processor (At stock)
Mobo - Gigabyte Z77-D3H
PSU - Corsair TX650M Modular
RAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
GPU - XFX R7950 3GB Black Edition
Case - BitFenix Colossus
SSD - OCZ 120GB
HDD - 1TB WD 6GB/s SATA III

P.S

I have returned my cpu, psu, ram and mobo back to where i purchased for them to test the items because of this issue but they told me that everything was working fine.

If anybody can provide any help that would be great

Re: Need help with PC

Remove all but one stick of RAM, clear the CMOS and try to boot.
Specs of the RAM?

Re: Need help with PC

Sorry, I reread the OP and see the PSU won't power up so that would be the problem.
Is the PSU plugged directly into the wall outlet?
Check the power cord to the PSU.

Re: Need help with PC

Yeah it is plugged directly into the wall and tried a new cable also,

It has now decided to power up, i haven't done anything to it, it just decided to boot up,

Really don't know what the problem was but i don't plan on turning it off anytime soon to experience the same issue.

Re: Need help with PC

The M series Corsair are not the top quality of the TX series but it does have a 5 yr. warranty so you could consider an RMA. You could try using a different electrical outlet.
