[SOLVED] Music at winxp startup

896 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Geekgirl
Hi again guys, this is my 3rd question here on TSF. I am running winxp pro sp3 and I wanted to add the mp3 file from civ4 main theme as my win start up. I was wondering if it was possible to do that. I heard that maybe I would have to convert it to a wave file first. if so is there any free way to that. is there a file size restriction. the mp3 file size is 3.17mb. well hope to hear from you guys soon

Re: Music at winxp startup

Just convert the mp3 file into a wav. From there go to Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/Sounds tab. Toward the bottom is a listing that includes "Start Windows". You can browse to the wav file you want to use and tell it to apply the changes.

How to convert the MP3 format into WAV format
