Hey, so here's the story...
I was messing around with screen resolutions with my LCD TV attached via VGA cable. I had the settings so the display ONLY showed on my LCD TV so i could not see anything on my laptop screen.
I went on a certain resolution which was not supported with my TV (did not know this at the time) and my screen displayed 'out of range'.
Now, i can use my laptop screen on it's own but i muchly prefer having an external monitor attached to it but if i do, it will display nothing on my laptop screen and simply 'out of range' on the TV - this means i cannot change the resolution back.
I did do a system restore, and it worked, it had the correct resolution however there was a yellow tint on the TV screen whenever it was connected so i checked all the plugs and everything was fine.
So if anyone knows a way to change it back from the computer OR prevent the yellow tint when i system restored it i would be very grateful.
Please help!
Thanks,
Alex.

Re: Monitor out of range issue URGENT!

nevermind guys! I managed to do it blind with quite a lot of effort! Had to line up my mouse with the resolution button, hit the down key a few times, press enter, then keep hitting tab until it got to okay! Managed it in the end!
Thanks anyway i know someone wouldve given a much easier method!
