I installed an ARRIS Touctone Telephony Modem, which runs all the time through Comcast high speed internet services. I had been using the U.S. Robotics 56K Faxmodem PCI. Do I disconnect 56K Faxmodem, or do I need both?

the U.S. Robotics 56K Faxmodem PCI can be left in the computer unused so if you ever need it again it is there ready and waiting, but to release some system resources that the the U.S. Robotics 56K Faxmodem PCI does take up you can remove it if you wish.

Thanks for that information. I'll simply disable to Faxmodem and leave it intact.
