I turned on my Linux box this morning and my KDE desktop was gone....:upset:

In its place was something called MiniMax....

Well MiniMax goes even further away from a GUI.

Looks like this may be the end of Linux for me till the next upgrade.

I loaded ALL the gui's on install and have a choice upon logging in on which interface I want to run for the session.

I still like KDE the best. Gnome looks cooler, but KDE is more useful.

I didn't see MINIMAX though......... and I'm pretty sure we are using the same version of mandrake.....................

Sure you didn't accidently load it when you did ICQ?

I'm using Mandrake 8.2 and I also have choices of what GUI I want to use but Minimax isn't on of them I haven't even heard of it in fact....of course this doesn't mean anything but still.. strange.
