Here at my job are thinking about making a mail server but the problem is we really don't know what kind yet. But we are gonna be using the latest ubuntu server, so if you have any thoughts or comments please let me know, and if you could provide links and how to set it up that would be great, Thanks

Hi,

I don't know that much about mail servers. I haven't had to set one up or needed one for my home use. I have done a little bit of google searching, and everyone is talking about postfix. I found a couple of sites that might help you here they are. site 1, site 2.

If you need anything else I can to my best to help you but I don't know that much about mail servers, so I hope this helps a little bit.

Thanks I will take a look into it, We just need to get this stupid thing started, it will make mine and the other techs wrk a lot faster and easier.

Great, what program did you go with? Was it Postfix, or a different program?

we are using axigen, the problem at first was that mcaffe wasn't letting us do something but its all good and dandy lol. thanks again
