LOw Priority

hello...Vista 64 bit IE9
(other PC win/ 64bit IE9 )

I have cable and connect via a Netgear CG3100
I can access all sites but then I was unble to access one that I had been able to earlier.

These people make spotting scopes/ telescopes

I can connect via IE9 or firefox on both my PC's

I have checked Host file which is at default settings...

I can't see anything in NIS 2012 in firewall though not sure what I'm looking for .

Site isn't blocked in my Internet options privacy settings and I restored advanced setting in ie 9 BUT haven't RESET IE9.

I have unplugged the modem for 15 minutes ..I have had it turned off over night.

I'm guessing that because I can't connect thru 2 PC's it's my Modem settings.
I haven't RESET my modem as I don't know if this will cause me more problems than necessary.

I have the IP adress for the Netgear gateway and can log in but uncertain of settings here. Read something about changing MAC adress but I couldn't.

I have scanned with NIS 2012 , Malwarebytes and superantispyware.
I am more than anything curious WHY I can't access this site...I can easily live without it.

Any suggestions??

I meant I CANNOT connect via IE9 or firefox on both my PC's.

Rits when I click on the link the circle in the TABS just rotates...I then get the ca'nt connect.
When I click on Diagnose Internet connection I get the "Was unable to connect to blah, blah, blah and the IP number.
and I get the option to Reset Network Adaptor...which I have tried.

Using IE9 ...also no luck with Firefox.... also besides the 2 PC's my wife's laptop running win 7 (upgarde) 32 bit won't connect and that's running IE8 (some people just won't accept change....Tut! Tut! )

I think it must be the modem settings as it does connect on any of the Pc's /laptops..
Norton says that as such they don't block sites in NIS 2012

They did suggest that some server between me and the site might be having issues and this could be the cause.

what effect will resetting the modem/router have (caBLE) with regards to my online games etc connecting...
If it will cause a lot of upheavel I will just leave it

AHHHH!!!! good question Rits.....no idea. Games have always just connected without any tampering from me.

I guess I will have to re- input info for each PC ?..i.e create a new network?

I just found this :

says this:
Note: Before resetting the router, please make a note of the previous settings such as IP addresses, security keys, opened ports and services. You will need to reapply the same settings. It’s also advisable not to Restore the previous settings, best to start fresh.

But I don't know where to find opened ports etc so will probably leave well alone.

Just an update...time an on and I never got to reset my cable modem....just the other day I retried the site and it worked!!!!!
