Just recently i have had my isp do a interleave process on my broadband as i disconnected at regular intavals.Now it i seem to be getting a better connection speed but it still keeps losing connection after 5-10-15-20 mins.which is fustrating also i use the net for my xbox and my nat type is now moderate even though my netgear router has this enebled this problem with my isp has been going on since aug 2011 my broadband is plugged into the test socket on the wall thay say i need an engineer to come out and check my phone line outside which will cost £60.00
money i dont have.if i change isps will i still have the same.!

Is this a wired or wireless connection?

What is your signed up speed with your ISP?

If you bypass the router and plug it in to the Modem are you still having an issue?

Thanks but i was told that it is not my pc and my isp could see the problem lies within the phone line.So engeneer time he plugged a device into the test skt(box on wall).Only to be told there were a few errors with the line 2200 errors..!so he went to sort the problem out and did so by putting us on another line.Sorted my speed is now 6+ mb dowload speed.0.552 upload speed.Also changed the front of box on wall
it now has an adsl filter built in. Once again thanks for the post.
