Please help. Ten days ago my computer froze. When I restarted, I got a message saying something about local disk E: is 'dirty'. Can't remember specifics but 3 separate verification scans all said 'OK' and system started. After 2 more crashes in same day, I disabled 2nd hard drive and haven't had a problem.

yesterday I enabled E: drive to get Belarc Advisor report but system wouldn't start at all

I am using a Dell desktop
- Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 3 (build 2600)

E: drive is 2nd internal hard drive used for media storage and playback. (western digital 640GB)
All files were scanned with Avira and Superantispyware (both free editions) before moving to E: drive. I also scanned entire drive with both before i disabled the first time...no warnings.

I have Belarc Advisor report for C: drive but E: drive is now sitting on my desk. If I can get a list of specific information you need, I should be able to find it.

Please speak slowly as I'm new to this. :)
