Dear EVERYBODY,

I am having a huge problem with my favorite game, Left 4 Dead 2.
Here is my problem, and if you can help, Please do, I would Greatly Appreciate it.
Now, when I start my LFD2, everything is fine, I mean the Main Menu and all, But when I get into game, even single player, Nothing works. I can see everything alright, and I can look around, but I cannot shoot, move, or even turn on or off my flashlight. This started when I was making a map in LFD2's Hammer Editor. I tried to test my map, and this problem started. I thought it was just the map, so I deleted it, and tried to play single player, but it didn't work then either.
I also, actually, reinstalled the whole game. Didn't repair, I just deleted the whole thing, then reinstalled the whole thing, and it still doesn't work. So if you can help me, please do. And also, if you know more than one possible solution, even if you think one will work best, give me all of your ideas for fixing it, please.

If you actually help me, THANKS!!!!

Re: Left 4 Dead 2 Issue

Hi and welcome to TSF, Benny Wam.

I know this seems odd, but have you tried checking your controls settings to see if everything is mapped to a function? I know in some weird cases, games will sometimes remove the key bindings.

If everything seems alright in the controls settings, uninstall L4D2 completely using Revo Uninstaller (freeware version is fine) using the advanced setting and then install L4D2 again.

I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! You actually fixed it, lol. Thank you so much! I feel stupid,
but apparently it DID remove my key bindings, so I tested it and it works now! I really appreciate your help. Haha. Thanks.
