I'm not sure if I can explain my question clearly but I will try. I was checking out what things are on my computer and deleting old junk I don't need/use anymore. I ran across multiple entries in my add/remove program files for the same program..

Example:

Java 6 update 4 ..size 137.00MB
Java 6 update 7 ..size 114.00MB

Then there are tons of security updates for I/E 7

and a bunch of updates for Windows XP


Question.....does each new update replace the previous update, or should these all be saved

Hello: Unlike Service Packs, those updates don't replace and add on to previous updates.

So, keep them.
