Alright, so i am converting my site over to wordpress, aka...lots of images. I have 78 images (all wallpapers) and i am wondering how i would go about making a page in which it shows, say 50 images (in order of newest [top] to oldest [bottom]) with a next page button down below. I know i could probably have loads of fun writing this in the html editor :mblah:


But please, please tell me there is an easy way of doing this. Is there a plugin? Please explain how i would go about this.

You can rename all of the pictures to 001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg, etc. and that would make it easier to do.

After that I could easily write a script that would show them all in a gallery type format, or even just provide the html to show them all.

And if you could write a script that would be fantastic...i am not very good at writing scripts >.> (only at editing)

Alright, so 50 images per page, thumbnail type images, and I'm assuming javascript is allowed.

Will you have smaller versions of the images or do you just want to put 50 of them on a single page full size?

hmm...well if they are sized down (but still have original size) that would make major lag. I already have thumbnails made for them, numbered as well (in a diff folder on my computer). So maybe in the public_html directory i will have a wallpaper folder (with the wallpapers) and then inside that a thumbnail folder (with the thumbnails).

The are png btw.
