[SOLVED] HToshiba L300 screen not working

hi
When I turn on the laptop the screen just stay black with the back light on, it works fine on an external monitor
I've stripped it and there are no loose connections
So would this be a lcd fault or inverter?
Or maybe something else as the laptop fell off the sofa

If the external is fine then you most likely have a problem with the inverter or the LCD screen.

Double check that the video cable is connected at both ends and was not jarred loose by the fall.

If cable is fine I would suggest trying a new inverter first.

All ok now thanks
It was the cable on the mother board side come loose
