[SOLVED] HPOJ PRO 8500 will not connect to router

I recently installed the dd-wrt firmware on my router. It's working perfectly because every device except the printer can connect via wifi. I have a desktop, 2 laptops, an iPod Touch, and a Nook Tablet that all connect just fine.

[Edit - Re: No Filtering - Fail - I unplugged the router for 30 seconds and plugged it back in again per a suggestion from the HP site. No go.]

When I enter the SSID and password in the printer, it returns with everything passing except No Filtering. It also indicates that the signal strength is very low. This doesn't make sense because my desktop is about 5 feet away from the printer and has a great wifi signal.

Needless to say, everything was working before I "upgraded" the router's firmware. Now, everything except the printer is working.

Re: HPOJ PRO 8500 will not connect to router

Root of problem: Router

I was having problems before I upgraded the firmware on the router, but I didn't know it was the router causing the issue. However, I began to suspect it after giving it some thought when the printer would not connect and I was still having the same problems. It finally died today. So, I'm temporarily using the crappy one that Cavtel sent me.
