On my new 5575G, whenever i make keystrokes, it momentarily disables trackpad movement and mouse clicks. How do i stop this from happening? I've looked through my mouse properties and settings, but can't find anything.

Thanks.

I don't know of any Windows setting relevant to that problem, so try installing the latest touchpad driver from your laptop manufacturer's website.

Re: How to stop keystrokes from momentarily disabling the trackpad?

New laptop, has the newest drivers. But its okay i've managed to solve this one on my own. For anyone else who encounters the same issue:

This works for Win7 x64 SP1, with Synaptics TouchPad v7.5;
Press Start, search for 'Mouse', select Mouse, then go to the 'Device Settings' tab, then click 'Settings', then expand 'Pointing' and then 'Sensitivity', and select 'PalmCheck' and reduce it to its lowest value. Problem solved!
