Before i start i would like to thank whoever helps me with my little problem in advance <33
I recently bought a OEM - Deskstar 7K160 (HDS721616PLA380) so it really came with no cd's or instructions.
My problem is, i installed the HD, loaded up my computer and i got the initial Plug and Play driver load up / detection box on the bottom right.
As i went to check My Computer to see if the HD icon was there i didn't see anything. Even though i've checked Device manager, did the Control panel > Add Hardware step and those two sources say that the HD is working properly and is being acknowledged.
I thought to myself, maybe it's a driver update or something i need to do. Well, i checked around and couldn't seem to find a drivers for the HD.
I even checked my MOBO manufactures website and btw my MOBO is a Asus - PSP800s-x.
So in a nut shell, i know i'm completely missing a step, or i'm just being plain dumb and not seeing something that might be very simple to fix.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thnaks! <3
(Please feel free request any further information regarding my PC setup if needed)
