Ok so i recently got a 750 watt corsair power supply. after connecting all the hard drives and everything else it powers on fine but for some reason my hard drive won't boot into windows and instead it keeps just going to the bios every time it restarts. The drive shows up in the bios but setting the boot priority to that same drive doesn't help and again it just keeps going to the bios ever time the pc starts up.

Re: Hardrive booting problem

Is it possible you connected the power to the hard drive backwards ? Can you remove drive and feel it spins up ?
yea it definitely spins up when i feel it but see i don't get any errors or anything when it tries to boot up, just goes straight to the bios, i wonder if a fixboot from a windows disc would help this.

Re: Hardrive booting problem

Usually you have to press a key to get into the bios so going straight to bios is not normal try removing the keyboard see what happens
Whoa, i unplugged my keybaord and let it try to boot and it worked, strange...why would the keyboard interfere with the boot process? wierd...

But anyways thanks for the help! i really appreciate it.
