[SOLVED] Files not accessable, Access Denied

HELP! I am trying to copy files from my old computer to a new one. I copied the contents of the My Documents folder onto an external HDD. When I connect it to the new computer, I can see the folder but when I try to access it, I get the message in the attached pic. I have tried changing permissions on the drive to no avail. I'm running WinXP Pro SP3 on both the old and new computers. I had a password on the old one to log on, which has been removed. The old computer is still bootable. Can anyone help me please?:4-dontkno
