Hi all,
I know a pilot name can be deleted in Descent by doing ctrl+d, but that doesn't work for the individual saved games inside of a pilot name. I think I have located the individual saved games inside of a pilot name from the folder directory, but is that the only way to delete them? Also, when I take a screenshot of the game actually in action, and I paste it in MS Paint, the graphics are completely messed up in MS Paint, but yet it is normal in the game. Could this be because the game is partly running somewhat on DOSBox?
Thanks, Jason

Re: Exactly how saved games get deleted and screenshots in Descent

When you say the graphics are 'messed up' do you mean some major pixelation? That is normal as the picture was taken in action (sort of like how you get blur effect when taking a picture while moving) or it's just resizing and it gets that effect.

The objects in the game that were saved with the screenshot barely appear in Paint, and everything else is barley legible/able to tell what it is.

"Descent"? The Original? I still have my copy and Descent 2 from years back (hated that little, sneaky, annoying "weapons thief" in the latter). Still a fun game but the pixelation is horrendous on today's machines.

Yeah, I didn't like the thief either from Descent 2. I guess I could just try deleting one of the saved games from the folder and see.

I'm going to mark this solved, as I did just go ahead and try to delete a saved game from the folder, and it worked!
