[SOLVED] dvd/cd rom troubles

my dvd rom wont open a cd it makes the noise but simply wont open it and i have tried all i can think. in the properties it says a driver cannot start as it is not digitally signed. have a acer aspire 5570, am running vista home premium, dvd is optiarc dvd rw ad 7530A ATA and in the driver details it says C:\Windows\system32drivers\CDRALW2K.sys is the error. can anyone give suggestions please. i'm not very tech savvy so simplicity is appreciated thanks :)

Uninstall the drive from Device Manager and restart Windows.

After Windows restarts the drive will be reinstalled.

If still having issue try removing the filters (see instructions below)

Your CD drive or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs
