Hi Everyone.

I've gone and bought myself 3 monitors for an eyefinity setup but at least one of them requires display port.

Does anyone know of any cables that they can recommend? Are the cheap cables as good as the expensive ones or are they of much poorer quality, etc?

Can't recommend one having not used any except VGA or DVI, but the more expensive ones are worth the extra money in my opinion provided it's a reputable/well-known brand and not a cheapo brand that's just had it's price hiked up by the seller to make it look high-quality when it isn't.

Do you know any 'well known' brands? I've never bought specific cables before. The ones that come with the monitors are all I've ever had to use and they've done the job fine.

Also, if I use 1 monitor with display port and two with DVI, will the DVI ones look worse? Or will it not be noticable?

I've found very little difference in cable quality. Stay away from the ridiculous priced cables- i.e. Monster Cable. Gold ends are preferable to avoid corrosion.
Purchase from a place that you can return it to if there is a problem.

Ok. Thanks for the hints. Will buy something from Amazon. They often get things a bit wrong but they're always helpful and sort it out.
