i've just installed mandrake linux 9.1 but couldn't get the needed display driver. i've searched a lot but lastly got frustated. can anybody send or help me to find the display driver of SiS 650 chip for mandrake 9.1. thanks.

Hi!
Since its an older chipset its probably not support by the version of X Windows shipped with Mandrake you can check that our for sure at www.xfree86.org to be sure though! If you find its not supported you'll probably need to install XWindows 3.3.6 and I'm sure that Mandrake supplies the packages... if not give us a shout and we'll see what we can do for ya :)

thanks for the information. i don't know which version of XFree86 i' m using. but as per told by u i've seen in XFree86 site that SiS 650 is supported in new 4.3.0 version. let me try first to download and install it, if it doesn't work then i'll call for help from u. thankyou.
