I came home one day to find my keyboard all messed up. My mom said that she spilled coffee on it. She cleaned it off and it was messing up. Then she started pushing random buttons and it still messed up. Things would close and random windows would pop up when pressing keys.

After messing with it I realized that the problem was that Windows thinks that the windows logo key is being held down all the time. I tried on-screen keyboard and it still thinks that (The other keyboard was unplugged). I tried disabling the windows key, and that temporally fixed it, but then the problem arose again.

Has any one came across this problem before, and more importantly does anyone know how to fix it.

Re: Digitaly Stuck Windows Key

hi

i take it this is a desktop computer? have you tried a restore point before this happened?
I restored it from a point a few days ago. Now it works just fine (other than I need a new keyboard because the keys are sticky from the coffee.)
