[SOLVED] DG965MS Motherboard
What's the best CPU that I could put on my DG965MS Motherboard. I have a Pentium D at the moment but I was thinking of upgrading to a newer CPU.

Where is says "Compatibility details differ per processor revision" how can I check exactly which version I should get? Ideally I would get a E6700 but it does say that.

Look on the Mobo number for a tag that has "AA". The numbers following AA will be the board's revision number.
E6700 needs revision 402-403-404-405-406
Bios version 1698 or above.

Intel site says any revision from 402 to 406 so you should be good.
If your Bios version 1698 or above you should be good to go.

I would have to upgrade my bios but by the looks of things I can do that without any trouble.
