I reformatted my laptop few weeks ago. Today I tried to watch a dvd but my windows media center, real player and other players couldnt play it. It says decoder error. How can i fux this? Whay program do i need to download/install? Pls help. Thanks

Do you by chance have a software disc from Dell that came with the computer? If so, it may have a multimedia program like Cyberlink DVD that you can install, which will provide a DVD codec needed for watching movies.

The easiest way to do this is do what TheGift73 suggested and download VLC player, it will play any media file. If you really want to use your current players, then you will need to download the Codecs for them.
