Hi all,

I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I rebooted my xin xp computer and my D: drive does not want to be opened anymore. It says when I double clic it that it is not formated.

It is a 1TB disk but it is recognised as a 7,87GB in the bios...
I can see the drive in "my computer".

I tried chkdsk from the bios and it says can't do anything on RAW disks...
I tried a few recovery software but with no luck.

Is there a way to recover my datas by fixing mbr or whatever is wrong ?

Thank you so much for your responses.

Re: crashed disk... Wants to be formatted !

OK.

So after a lot of struggle I decided to have a shot at

HDD Capacity Restore.

Not inly did it work to give me back my 932GB, but my datas were left untouched !!!!

So it worked just great, and took about 1 minute...

So much for the 4Hours scanning of some other softwares...

If a moderator can edit the title and say [SOLVED]...
