[SOLVED] Computer won't boot up after factory restore.

I don't know what could have happened between me doing a restore and it restarting. It went through the process of shutting down and restarting, but the thing is it didn't even return to the windows screen and just hung at a black screen. There is no error when I tried to reset it again, it would just hang there every time.

Once I restarted it would beep like it normally would, then show the mobo screen and after that it would just stay blank. I tried leaving it running to see if it would do anything and still nothing.

Now to explain why I did a factory restore, was due to some strange pop ups I had (I didn't go anywhere unbeknown to me, other than hotmail, google, youtube, mmosite.com). I decided to just do a restore back to how things were alright thursday, but if I had known it would cause more problems for me restoring...I wouldn't have. Now I can't use my computer anymore, and what sucks is...I was in the verge of backing up some stuff I had worked on for the day. I fear that I might have lost stuff on my HDD, and what bites even more is I was planning to do an upgrade for a new computer later on...I really need my stuff.

I tried to figure out ways to get into it, but I can't...pressing F8 does squat...I just can't understand what is going on. How can me doing a factory restore bomb my computer?

Actually I fixed the problem, I found my windows disc (was searching for it) did a repair to the master boot, and voila. =) This thread can be marked as solved.
