I have windows xp and road runner. Yesterday my interent has been running really slow. It takes forever for a page to load. My computer is also super slow. Please help me.

You have 2 threads that you have not acknowledged if the assistance that was offered helped your issue or not. It seems you have multiple issues. Have you tried rebooting your modem?

yes on saturday i am going to reinstall my computer again. I think its the computer modem it will jsut go out for no reason.

I did not mean to reinstall the operating system I meant reboot the modem, the box your internet service provider gave you to use, not the internal installed modem

Here's a group of 5 that I strongly recommend, and their all free versions. These are the programs I put on right after a fresh install and windows updates. You also need an anti-virus

Solved. There wasa problems with our cable cords. Someone outside had done something to them.
