Have you always used that specific IP address? ComCast must have moved that machine around their network, because I cannot Ping it either
ISP settings for outgoing mail severs almost ALWAYS utilize the DNS name, like "smtp.comcast.net".
Recommend checking with ComCast for proper SMTP outgoing mail settings and changing the specific IP address you currently have mapped there.
