[SOLVED] BSOD Help!?

3841 Views 7 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Jonathan_King
Hi,

This is my first post in this forum, and the community looks very helpful. Since Monday, my computer has been experiencing bsod errors, and I tried everything to fix it. The problem that the screen says is Driver_IRQL_not_less_or_equal.
I restored my computer to the default factory settings, but this problem still persists. Can anyone help me fix this problem? Thank you in advance!

Wow thanks for posting such a quality post! I will definitely let you know the results in a bit
Re: BSOD Help!?

Hi again,

After trying the solutions that you proposed, the frequency of the BSOD has been reduced, but it still occurs on a daily basis. Here is the update to my minidump. Thanks a lot for replying to this thread

Re: BSOD Help!?

Hello,

Those dump files are older than March 20, when John posted. Thus we see nothing new.

Run hard drive diagnostics: SeaTools for Windows | Seagate

If the BSODs persist, please upload a new jcgriff2 report: http://www.techsupportforum.com/for...-instructions-windows-7-and-vista-452654.html

Re: BSOD Help!?

Hi guys,

Nvm I fixed the problem now. The Iastor.sys was actually a virus file. After I fixed it with Kaspersky, everything is now working fine. Thanks for the efforts!
