[SOLVED] BSOD brand new PC Build

1930 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  jcgriff2
Hi there

Don't know too much about computers so any help would be appreciated.

A second issue is that my pc fans are running at what seems to be maximum. Don't know if this is related...

Have I chosen incompatible parts, wrong software etc...?

I just replaced my old pc for what seems to be the same BSOD error Locale ID 3081.

Here's the info you need:

· OS - Vista/ Windows 7 ? Win7 Ultimate
· x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64bit
· What was original installed OS on system? As above
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? OEM purchased when I built the PC
· Age of system (hardware) 2010/2011
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? 2 weeks. No re-installation
· CPU - AMD Phenom II x6 1100T
· Video Card - Gigabyte HD Readeon 6970 2GB
· MotherBoard - Gigabyte GA-FXA890-UD5
· Power Supply - brand & wattage - Antec True Power 750W

Thanks again

Mik
