OK I give up! I have done the research I tried the fixes and at the end of the day I still end up with a slow IE6.
I test it this.
Un install IE7 now back at IE6 I guess it dint un install it all together,

then reset all the Internet options to the default,

then did all the “regsvr32 urlxxx.dll” but one of them “shdocvw.dll” failed, return code was 0x8002801c,

then I run the “sfc /scannow” but it hangs up on asking to insert the second CD but I only have the one that came with the laptop,

then I run the hijackthis.log but I can’t make heads or tales out of this.

BTW I’m running Spyware doctor and did full scan no Spyware/malware there.

Can anybody please help?:upset::upset: thank you

Re: Browsing is very slow

Hello and welcome back
'
So the same problem happens when you run IE7? Because it is important that you are running IE7 as IE6 is very outdated and has alot of security holes.

Browsing speed back to normal.

Problem was? a Trojan left it's foot print on the configuration utility under startup.

By the name ---"reader_s.exe"

Now all I have to do is figuer out hot to remove it from the utility list.
