When I boot up my PC (with windows xp) I get the follwoing error msg: The procedure entry point apsGetReady could not be located in the .dynamic link library wlanapi.dll

This began after I down loaded the MS service pack 2 & 3

How can I fix it?

Thanks

Re: Boot up error msg: re apsGetReady

That's an error with a D-Link Wireless card, get the latest drivers for it, should solve the problem.

I have the same message, but do not have a d-link wireless card.
Could it also be something else?

It is generally an issue with your wireless card drivers and updated them generally solves it. It is not uncommon for the error to pop up after installing Service Pack 3 on an XP box, but again updating your wireless card drivers fixes the issue most of the time.
However a secondary cause is spyware/malware on your system. Check out the spyware/malware forum and follow the directions there to make sure your system is cleaned.
