I have my computer hooked up to a Linksys wireless router so that my daughter can connect to the internet from her room with her laptop and so that my son can connect to Playstation network from the Den while playing on the PS3. Anyway my son likes to browse through mine and my daughters computer files when he gets bored, so I would like to prevent him from doing this. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Re: Block computer files from PS3

Sure, just disable file/print sharing in the firewall of the computers. The standard Windows firewall is sufficient for this. You can also stop the Server process in Services and set it's startup to Disabled.

Re: Block computer files from PS3

Thanks John, however maybe you need to dumb it down...Barney style for me. I go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Windows Firewall...I don't see an option to disable file/print sharing, only three TABS - General, Exceptions & Advanced. :4-dontkno
