Hello,

I have a custom built machine with a GA-MA790GP-DS4H motherboard and have a tiny problem with it, witch I am unable to solve myself.

I tried to reset my BIOS and now when I turn on my computer I receive an error BIOS Auto-Recovering and in about 30sec the machine restarts. It's in a loop that way. I can't get into BIOS. I can't get anywhere.
I see another line of text that's not supposed to be there. MAIN BIOS CHKSUM ERROR. Whats that all about?
And another thing I should mention. The BIOS wont recognize my CPU, but I think that's because I reset my BIOS.

Any ideas how I'd be able to resume normal boot?

Re: BIOS Auto-Recovering

OK, Seems I solved my lil' problem.

I switched my CPU to an older one, so the BIOS would recognize it. And voila, BIOS recognized it, Auto-Recovered it self and after that, all I had to do was update my BIOS to latest version and I could switch back my original CPU.

All is well that ends well
