hey, I'm having sound bugs when ingame. I hear the sound but sometimes the sound cuts off and i hear nothing, I'll sometimes only hear random sounds like my shooting and thats it, and after some time it'll come back for a bit and then happen again randomly. It's really annoying when this happens and hard to play with.

Any idea what's wrong?

--What I've tried
=Changing the bit/sample rates in the sound manager thing in control panel.
=Reinstalling game
=Closing all programs

Re: BF3 Sound Bug

Erm, I use a steelseries v2 siberia but thats not USB

And in deivice manager it says
AMD High Definition Audio Device but I believe that's for the HDMI which is not connected

And RealTek Highdefinition audio which i believe I'm using. not sure what the soundcard isn't haven't put one in myself. I guess it's build in/came with the pc.

Re: BF3 Sound Bug

check that your sound card are configured for only 2 Speakers and not more

right click on the white Speaker at the task-bar and choose Playback devices
click on your default sound card (with the Green Check mark) and choose Configure
check that the audio channel is Stereo, choose next and choose the right speakers front and left or other, but if you have 2 speakers or a headphones it should be 2 not more
