[SOLVED] Asus P8P67LE motherboard with 600w psu

I am building a computer and I have i3 cpu, but it only starts up for a split second then shuts off. I have unpluged everything except the 24 pin connector. Please help!

Post the rest of your specs.

Motherboard-CPU-Memory-Graphics card-Power Supply brand/wattage

For troubleshooting purpose I would suggest bench testing the components

Your description sounds a lot like a shorted Mobo. Did you use one standoff, no more - no less, for every Mobo mounting hole?
Do you have all the required power connections installed?
Knowing the rest of the specs as requested above would also prove helpful.
The 4 pin was not pluged in. I didnt think it had to be because the plug on the board was had 8 plugs and the pin on the power supply was stanard 4 pin.
