I have a burned copy of SoF II that runs fine in single player, I had to download a key generator from kazaa to install it.

Now, in the MP options you can put in the CD Key. I did, and it said "valid CD Key" So i choose a game and click Join Server. As it is connecting to the server, at the bottom, it says "invalid CD Key" i let it sit there for about 3 minutes, and nothing.

I downloaded the same Key Generator and tried a diff Key. Again, in the MP options i put it in, It says "valid CD Key" And again, i Join Server, and again, "Invalid CD Key" yet again, i wait 4-5 minutes. Nothing.

Tell me the answer to my problem. :[]>--<

Sorry but the answer to your problem is to buy the game. When just playing the game locally the CD key that you used will be fine, but when you go to join a multiplayer game, the master server checks your CD Key against a database to see if it is being used by anyone else. Obviously someone else is using yours.

Its a very good game and a lot of work was put into it. You should splurge a little and buy it instead of ripping it.

explanation about keygens:

a keygen looks in the algorithm of the game (the verification process where your key is checked with the game, usualy while installation) and processes a random key. 99% of the time this key isn't even really a key for the game, but it does take the key for single player. the game developer(s) keep a log of which keys they send into the world. if you want to play multiplayer your key must be one of these. else the server will disallow you. and log your ip (like with everything else).

a crack is about the same,
where's a crack different from the original .exe? the protection is patched, so it won't run. but skip the protection and go right to the game. if the developer puts a protection scheme in their online servers, and check your .exe before letting you play online, they can see if you have the original game, or a cracked version ;)

my advice: buy a game, the developers deserve it for their hard work! (you like to get paid for your job aswell don't you??)
